Whistleblowing

At FILTERS S.p.A., integrity, transparency, and compliance are fundamental values guiding our business activities.

To support these principles, we have implemented a Whistleblowing System that enables employees, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to report concerns regarding unlawful conduct, ethical violations, or situations that may expose the company or third parties to risk.

All reports are handled confidentially and in compliance with applicable whistleblowing regulations.

Who Can Submit a Report

Reports may be submitted by:

  • Employees of FILTERS S.p.A.
  • Former employees
  • Job applicants and candidates
  • Consultants, freelancers, and contractors
  • Suppliers and business partners
  • Any individual who has obtained information regarding potential misconduct within the work-related context

The protection granted to whistleblowers applies throughout the relationship with the company, including recruitment and post-employment phases.

What Can Be Reported

The whistleblowing channel may be used to report actual or suspected violations, including:

  • Fraud, theft, corruption, or bribery
  • Accounting or financial irregularities
  • False statements or document falsification
  • Violations of health and safety regulations
  • Environmental violations
  • Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or abusive conduct
  • Data protection and information security breaches
  • Violations affecting public interests or the financial interests of the European Union
  • Any conduct that may constitute a violation of applicable laws, regulations, or company policies

Reports should be based on facts and information reasonably believed to be true.

What Cannot Be Reported

The whistleblowing system must not be used for:

  • Personal grievances unrelated to illegal conduct
  • Complaints concerning ordinary workplace disputes
  • Defamatory, offensive, or malicious allegations
  • Rumors or unsubstantiated personal accusations
  • Discriminatory or bad-faith reports

FILTERS S.p.A. reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of intentionally false or malicious reports.

How to Submit a Report

Reports can be submitted through our secure and confidential whistleblowing platform.

The platform allows reports to be submitted in writing and guarantees:

  • Confidentiality of the whistleblower's identity
  • Secure communication with the case handler
  • Uploading of supporting documents
  • Tracking of report status through a unique case number
  • Protection of information through advanced security measures

Anonymous reports may also be submitted and will be evaluated when adequately detailed and supported by factual information.

Handling of Reports

Upon submission:

  • A receipt of the report is provided within 7 days.
  • The report is reviewed by qualified whistleblowing specialists and, where necessary, by designated internal representatives and external legal advisors.
  • Feedback regarding the outcome of the review process is generally provided within 3 months from the acknowledgement of receipt.

All reports are managed with the highest level of confidentiality.

Protection Against Retaliation

FILTERS S.p.A. strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who make reports in good faith.

No whistleblower shall suffer adverse treatment, discrimination, dismissal, harassment, or any other retaliatory action as a consequence of submitting a report in accordance with applicable legislation.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Personal data collected through the whistleblowing process are processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Information is accessible only to authorized personnel and is retained for the period necessary to manage the report and, in any event, no longer than five years from the closure of the case.
